Files & Attachments
You can add images and other files to any document by dragging them in, pasting them, or using the sidebar.
Images
Drag and drop an image into the document — it inserts at the drop position.
Paste an image from your clipboard.
Or click Add Image in the right sidebar and pick a file.
Images upload directly to storage and render via a secure link when the document reloads. SVG files embed inline, so they stay crisp at any size.
There is a
Other files
Drag and drop — or paste — any non-image file (PDF, CSV, and so on) into a document. It inserts as a file card showing the file's icon, name, extension, and size.
Click the download button on a card to open or save the file.
Copy a file card and paste it into another document; the download still works there.
Resizing images and embeds
Select an image or embed to show its size controls in the right sidebar. Enter exact width and height, or drag the handles. See Writing and Editing Math for the style panel.
Attach files to AI chat
You can also attach images and files directly to a chat message with the AI Helper — upload with the attach button, drag a file onto the chat, or paste it. The AI can then read and reason about the file. See AI Helper.
