Corca Course Captain Program Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September
These Course Captain Program Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Corca Course Captain Program (“Program”).
By applying to, joining, or participating in the Program, you agree to follow these Terms, Corca’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and any additional rules communicated through the Corca Course Captain portal, Dub dashboard, Discord community, email, or other official Corca channels.
Participation in the Program does not guarantee acceptance, earnings, rewards, or continued participation.
1. About the Course Captain Program
The Corca Course Captain Program is a student community and referral program designed to help students build active Corca communities around the classes they are currently taking.
Course Captains may help their classmates:
discover Corca
join their course community
share notes and study resources
create Corca Docs
organize study sessions
prepare for exams
ask and answer questions
build a persistent community that can continue helping future students
Course Captains may earn rewards for qualified referrals, approved content, completed bounties, community growth, or other activities specified by Corca.
Course Captains are expected to help make Corca useful for their classmates, not simply distribute referral links.
2. Eligibility
To participate, you must:
provide accurate information in your application
attend the school you claim to attend
only claim courses you are currently enrolled in or otherwise authorized to represent
follow your school’s rules regarding communication platforms and student outreach
comply with applicable laws and platform policies
maintain a Corca account in good standing
Corca may request additional verification before approving an applicant or issuing a reward.
Verification may include:
school email verification
enrollment verification
course verification
screenshots or other supporting evidence
identity verification through Dub or its payment providers
Corca may approve or decline any application at its discretion.
3. Participants Under 18
Participants who are under
Corca may require:
parent or legal guardian consent
parent or guardian payment information
additional identity verification
additional program agreements
restrictions on certain activities or payouts
Participants must provide their correct age.
Participants may not misrepresent their age or use another person’s identity to bypass age or payment requirements.
Corca may limit or pause participation for minors in jurisdictions where additional requirements apply.
4. Course Captain Responsibilities
Course Captains are expected to make a reasonable effort to build a useful and authentic course community.
Examples include:
sharing the Corca course link with classmates
helping classmates join the correct course
answering questions about how Corca works
creating useful Corca Docs
sharing notes and study materials
organizing study groups or review sessions
encouraging classmates to collaborate through Corca
providing feedback to the Corca team
helping future students benefit from resources created during the semester
Captains have flexibility in how they grow their community, provided their activities follow these Terms.
5. Referral Links
Course Captains may receive one or more unique referral links.
Referral links may be associated with:
the Captain
the Captain’s school
a specific course
a specific academic term
a geographic region
a specific campaign or bounty
Captains should use their assigned links whenever promoting Corca.
Referral links may not be:
sold
transferred
shared between Captains for the purpose of manipulating attribution
modified to impersonate another Captain
used for fake or automated signups
Corca may disable or replace a referral link at any time.
6. Qualified Referrals
Not every click, signup, or account automatically qualifies for compensation.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific campaign, a Qualified Referral generally requires that the referred person:
Is a new Corca user.
Signs up through or is validly attributed to the Captain’s referral.
Provides a legitimate school or university identity where required.
Verifies their school email where required.
Joins the appropriate course or school community.
Is not a duplicate, fraudulent, automated, or self-referred account.
Meets any additional requirements listed for that reward or campaign.
Corca’s internal records are the final source of truth for determining whether a referral qualifies.
A click shown in Dub does not by itself guarantee that the referral qualifies for compensation.
7. One Acquisition Reward Per Student
A student may join multiple Corca courses, but they generally may only generate one new-user acquisition reward.
For example, if one student joins:
MATH
2413 CS
3345 PHYS
2325
that student does not necessarily generate three separate new-user referral commissions.
Corca may still issue additional course-specific, content, engagement, or bounty rewards where applicable.
8. Referral Rewards
Reward amounts may vary by:
country
region
school
course
campaign
class size
program tier
academic term
Captain status
promotional period
Current reward amounts will be displayed through official Corca or Dub channels.
A typical reward may be based on reaching a milestone such as:
15 qualified students30 qualified students50 qualified students
Corca may also issue one-time milestone bonuses.
Reward amounts shown for one region, school, or campaign should not be assumed to apply to another.
9. Regional Reward Rates
Corca may use different reward rates in different geographic markets.
For example, compensation in North America may differ from compensation in India, LATAM, APAC, EMEA, or other regions.
Regional rates may be based on factors including:
local acquisition economics
local payment availability
purchasing power
market maturity
fraud risk
operating costs
campaign objectives
The applicable rate will generally be determined using the school or program location associated with the Captain or course.
Regional reward differences are part of the Program structure and may change over time.
10. Bounties
Corca may offer additional optional tasks called Bounties.
Examples may include:
sharing Corca through an approved class communication channel
reaching a certain number of qualified students
publishing an approved Corca Doc
hosting a study session
activating a new course
recruiting another approved Course Captain
helping launch multiple courses at a school
participating in a Corca growth campaign
Each bounty may have its own:
eligibility requirements
deadline
reward
proof requirements
geographic restrictions
approval process
Completing an activity does not guarantee payment unless all bounty requirements are satisfied.
11. Proof of Completion
Some bounties may require proof.
Examples of acceptable proof may include:
screenshots
event attendance records
Corca activity
approved Corca Docs
referral analytics
school communication screenshots
professor or student organization confirmation
Proof must be truthful and unaltered except for appropriate privacy redactions.
Captains may not submit:
fake screenshots

manipulated analytics
screenshots from another Captain
repeated submissions of the same activity
misleading or fabricated evidence
Corca may request additional information before approving a reward.

Before uploading proof, Captains should blur or remove information such as:
student email addresses

Captains may not make false claims about:
Corca’s features
rewards
employment opportunities
partnerships

content obtained through academic misconduct
Corca may remove content and reject rewards associated with academic integrity violations.
Repeated violations may result in removal from the Program.
17. Originality and AI-Generated Content
Captains may use tools to help organize or improve their work, but content submitted solely to earn rewards must still provide genuine value.
Corca may reject content that appears to be:
automatically generated in bulk
low effort
repetitive
copied from another source
duplicated across courses
created primarily to farm rewards
materially inaccurate
Corca may use automated and manual review methods to evaluate submissions.

creating duplicate accounts
asking others to create fake accounts
bot-generated signups
paying people solely to create unused accounts unless specifically authorized
using temporary or fraudulent school emails
referral rings

account farming
manipulating cookies or attribution
tampering with Dub tracking
artificially inflating clicks, views, signups, or engagement
using misleading incentives not approved by Corca
Corca may investigate unusual activity.

signup patterns
email verification status
school affiliation
course membership
account activity
device or anti-fraud signals
referral timing

the referral was fraudulent
the referral was duplicated
eligibility requirements were not met
submitted proof was false
the Captain violated these Terms
a technical error created an incorrect reward
the student account was created solely to manipulate the Program
the underlying activity was later determined to be invalid
Corca will make reasonable efforts to provide an explanation when a reward is rejected or reversed.

required identity verification is completed
required tax information is submitted
any applicable fraud review is completed
Payment timing may vary by country and payout provider.

Participation in these communities is subject to community rules.
Captains must not:
harass other participants
post hateful or abusive content
spam referral links
share private information
leak confidential Corca information
impersonate other Captains
misuse other Captains’ referral links
Corca may remove participants from community channels at any time for violating community rules.

employment

qualified referrals
approved bounties

campaign availability
Examples of potential earnings are illustrative and should not be considered guarantees.

the number of active courses per Captain

Corca may require successful activation of an initial course before approving additional courses.

Corca may:
add co-Captains

fraud
repeated spam
academic integrity violations
harassment
false information

violation of Corca policies
conduct that materially harms students, schools, Corca, or the Program

Leaving the Program does not automatically remove previously published course resources from Corca.

This may occur globally or within specific:
