Typing Text vs Math
Corca lets you write text and math in the same document without switching modes. What gets inserted depends on how you confirm a suggestion.
Basic rule
When a suggestion appears while typing:
Key | Result |
|---|---|
Enter | Insert the math object |
Space | Keep the input as plain text |
Example
Typing sin, you will see a suggestion for the sine function.
Action | Result |

Press Enter | Insert |
Press Space | Keep the word |
Writing text
Type normally to write text.

Moving between text and math
Use arrow keys:
Key | Behavior |
|---|---|
Left / Right | Move between text and math |
Up / Down | Move between lines |
No mode switching is required.
