AI Helper

The AI Helper is built directly into the Corca editor. It can read the current document, answer questions, solve math, generate code, explain results, search documents, and help edit content without leaving the workspace.

Unlike a standalone chatbot, the AI Helper works in context. It understands the current document, previous messages, and mathematical expressions already present in your work.

Opening the AI Helper

To open the assistant, click AI Chat in the bottom of the page.

The conversation stays connected to the current document, so the AI can reference formulas, variables, and previous results automatically.

Asking questions

You can ask questions about mathematics, code, writing, or the current document.

For example: Solve x2-5*x+6=0

AI response: x={2,3}

Mathematical expressions are rendered as structured math, not plain text.

Working with mathematics

The AI Helper can solve, simplify, transform, and explain expressions directly inside the workflow.

Using document context

The AI automatically reads the current document before responding. This allows it to reuse variables, functions, assumptions, and earlier results.

Example:

• Document content is ƒ(x)=x2

• You ask what is ƒ(4)

• AI response: ƒ(4)=16

Because the AI reads the document context directly, you usually do not need to repeat definitions manually.

Inserting content into the document

AI responses can be inserted directly into the document, just click the little arrow on the left of the response you'd like to insert.

AI-generated edits

The AI can also propose direct edits to existing content. Changes appear as editable suggestions rather than automatic modifications.

You can either approve or reject the changes

Working with documents and files

The AI Helper can interact with documents inside the workspace. It can:

• read documents

• search project content

• create new documents

• insert generated content

Web search

The AI can retrieve current information from the web when needed.

Example:

What is the current population of France?

The AI retrieves and summarizes the latest available information.

Working with images

Images can be uploaded directly into the chat. The AI can:

• read text from images

• analyze equations

• interpret diagrams

• explain visual content

Example:

You upload a handwritten equation and ask to solve the equation The AI parses the image and generates a mathematical solution.

Chat history

Conversations are saved automatically. The AI remembers previous messages inside the same chat, so follow-up questions remain contextual.

Chat titles are generated automatically after the first exchange.
