Peano Math Typeface
How does it feel to sense math at your fingertips?
Quality math fonts are crucial for accurately representing complex ideas and ensuring clear, error-free communication in technical and scientific contexts.
The typography behind our product must accommodate the challenge of consistently displaying complex formulas across various platforms. While suitable for static print or traditional LaTeX processes, most off-the-shelf math fonts do poorly in dynamic contexts. Common problems include incomplete glyph sets and optical mismatches between text and math styles.
Our custom math font is the result of a meticulous design process. It eliminates imperfections and creates a consistent visual style for our editor. It fills all Unicode blocks related to math and physics, offers customizable optical sizes, and ensures consistent lettering for clear visualization on display.
We decided to name our font in honor of Giuseppe Peano.
Giuseppe Peano (1858-1932) was an Italian mathematician and logician, best known for his contributions to the foundations of mathematics and his work in set theory and mathematical logic. He is often considered one of the key figures in developing modern mathematical logic and formal language.
The Peano font includes more than 900 glyphs, ensuring you will unlikely encounter any missing symbol placeholders during your work. It supports a wide range of mathematical symbols, including alphanumeric characters, operators, arrows, Greek letters, double-struck and monospace styles, calligraphic scripts, and technical and geometric shapes.

Our system is designed to assist you as you type a formula. When you begin typing, the interface will suggest options based on the context. For example, if you want to type the letter α, start by typing "alpha," the interface will recognize this and suggest the appropriate symbol you need.
You can also access the Symbols Palette on the right side of the screen. We have organized the symbols by context for you. You can find their operators, logical symbols, Greek letters, arrows, and more.
